By sending your packages to the address in Florida provided to you at sign-up, you agree to the below-mentioned terms and conditions:
TRINIPOST/ “TRINIPOST.COM” will not be held responsible for:
Any of your (the Customer) package(s) that are en-route from your supplier or arrives at our handling agent’s (Ship to Islands) warehouse in Florida
Any of your (the Customer) package(s) in transit to Trinidad via air or sea freight
Any of your (the Customer) package(s) at the provider of the Customs Bond at Piarco International Airport, Trinidad
Any of your (the Customer) package(s) held by Customs & Excise beyond our control
By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you authorize TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” to clear your package(s) consigned to you through Customs on arrival into Trinidad and Tobago. You also authorize us to handle your packages and all related dealings, as is required by Customs law.
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” would only be responsible for your package(s) once it is in our care after clearance through Customs & Excise at Piarco International Airport Trinidad and en-route to you.
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” would not be held responsible for any of your package(s) that have been received damaged by the handling agent “Ship to Islands” warehouse in Florida.
All package(s) shipped to the Florida address provided at sign-up are subject to, but not limited to, these Customs Duties, Customs Vat, and Online Purchase tax charges on arrival to Trinidad: http://www.customs.gov.tt/importing/duties-and-payment
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” is not liable for and delivery delays or lost package(s) due to improper labeling on the package(s)
Some packages may be charged on the volumetric dimension of the box and not the actual weight, which is outside of our control
You are entitled to pay the respective costs attached to each package sent to the address in Florida provided to you – given that your name or TP number is on the package. These costs may include, but are not limited to, Freight, Insurance, VAT, Customs Duty, Online Purchase Tax, and Brokerage Fees.
There are restrictions on the types of items that may be shipped to Trinidad. Items prohibited from being shipped via air-freight to Trinidad include, but are not limited to, the following:
Alcohol or any item with alcohol listed as an ingredient
Animal skins
Bamboo articles
Camouflage clothing or equipment
Cash
Corrosive cleaning solutions
Firearms, ammunition, and weapons
Fireworks
Flammable liquids or solids
Honey
Lighters and matches
Live plants and perishables
Poison
Pressurized containers
Swords
Tear gas and pepper spray
Wet cell batteries
Illegal substances
Pornographic material
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” is not liable for incorrect items, incorrect quantities, incorrect sizes, or any other discrepancy or error with your packages
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” is not liable for consequential loss such as a loss of income or business opportunity due to lost, damaged, delayed, or undelivered packages from any seller, be it through your ordering process or via ordering placed via TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” As such; we are not liable to make any reimbursements whatsoever for any of the occurrences mentioned above happening before packages arriving into Trinidad.
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” is not responsible for the value of Duty and/or VAT charged
The client is responsible for obtaining any special approvals required to clear specific packages, e.g., a Food and Drug stamp. TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” will inform you promptly if any of these are necessary.
As a customer of TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM,” you agree that you will pay all costs outlined on your invoices billed to you. All of these charges are paid upfront by TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” on your behalf.
All packages sent to the Florida address provided to you at sign-up must have an invoice/ value attached to it or inside the package(s) as per Customs requirement. If not, TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” and our shipping partners in Florida reserve the right to estimate and apply a value to your package(s).
TRINIPOST / “TRINIPOST.COM” and our shipping partners in Florida reserve the right to open and re-seal all your package(s) sent to the Florida address provided to you at sign-up to ensure compliance with Customs regulations as well as valuation purposes.
Any package not paid for within 30 days of arrival into Trinidad & Tobago will be discarded or sold without reimbursement. The relevant fees sent to you via email on our invoice must be paid in full within these 30 days for the package(s) to be released to you, with no exceptions.
